Is it not more ethical to get an artificial one...

Not really considering they are made of oil, never decompose and are shipped half way around the world (usually from Korea or somewhere)...

You can get nice UK grown ones in pots that go back after xmas and get replanted - now thats ethical :D

I hate plastic trees (sorry to anyone that has one)...glad to hear others dont have them either - I love trees but its just the hassle really - plus its one less in the forest ;)

I went from not having anything, to only having real and now I have two artificial ones.....got fed up of paying out every year for real ones....hopefully the two I have will last for years and years....

  • The hotel chocolat you have to check when you are expected delivery (its in your account somewhere). Mine was due on the 26th Nov but I moved it to the 6th Dec :j

Cat, my bear took 7 days from ordering and I was one of the first to order. I guess it depends how many they have to work through. However my prints came within 48hours

4lbs lost, at last I am hitting the 'normal' Cd weightloss standards :T Had my 'treat' of a CD bar, it was horrid but at least it was still on plan

Plastic tree here too, only 2ft high so a diddy one, we will have to share pics when they go up :)

Saw a thing the other day about the ones that you send to be replanted after Christmas, brilliant!

  • t tree is artificial and I've had it for about 20 years so I reckon I've saved the planet and my pocket.
Can't believe how much washing DD has sent. I might put my tree up to hang it on. :D
