If you go to www.goofbay.co.uk that has a private feedback checker. I haven't tried it myself but thought you might find it useful.

I never buy stuff of people with private feedback.
Like other people have said, I would respond to th feedback warning that he is a potential non-performing seller if his auctions don't raise 'enough' money.

.. and not that i could ever do or condone such a move, but out of interest if someone wanted an annonymous ebay account, untraceable back to you, how would you go about it?

I would never condone anyone just setting up an account with some fake address and contact details, even for revenge...
besides, they'd be able to get your ISP (unless you had masking software).

Yours looks fine - the fact his feedback is private and he wrote in cpitals with bad grammar would make me suspicious of him.
