I keep meaning to do this but never get round to it.
Instore there are specific white giftcards with some pics on and you need to add 20.00 on to that then send of the attached form that comes with the card with proof of receipt. In return you'll receive a booklet telling you whre you can book a free treatment.
incidentally the giftcard can be used in store as normal.

Where do you get the free treatments?0 -
The advantage card machine is putting out vouchers for a free Botanics Pamper kit when you buy two Botanics facial products (not miniatures). The cheapest item I could find that would qualify is the Antebacterial shave gel for £1.37 in the men's range. However when it went through the till the shaving gel was BOGOF! So bagged a £6 pamper kit for outlay of £1.37.
Interestingly the SA queried the offer. I thought it was because the items were from the men's range but instead it was because Shave gel is not considered a facial item. Two other colleagues agreed with her that a facial item should be something applied to and left on the face?????
Anyway got the item as I had been kept waiting for a long time. But she said if she had managed to find the person responsible for these offers I probably wouldnt have got it. If you try this then be prepared for a possible argument over the definition of 'facial'!!

Sparky67 wrote:Thanks Zoescrims for the info on the giftcard thing - what I was after was whether you could buy a giftcard for yourself effectively and just spend the money in Boots as normal, but bag yourself a treat into the bargain, and from what you say, that works!
Thanks again

Boots Botanics Antibacterial Shaving Gel £0.00

This is a message for anta
perhaps u could let me know if u received all the parenting vouchers i sent u.
despite sending u a pm, i am still unsure if u received them.
if i have taken the time and effort to post something to u, then please at least acknowledge that u got them.
oh and yes i think u may have thanked me, when i offered them to u, but to blatently ignore 2 private mesages.
i find the boots thread quite helpful, but won't be offering any spare vouchers in future.
message to board guides, feel free to delete or move this post. please check my previous posts as i am usually quite pleasant to people0 -
Hariboy wrote:Just been into boots and following advice from this site i have registered for a card and looked on their machine for special offers. They are offering 100 points when you buy "Soltan Self Tan No-Streaks Wipe 7.5ml". They are on half price offer (well in my local store anyway) for 67p so i make that a 33p profit plus a free wipe for my wife.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300

Just had a points spending frenzy this afternoon, only have 42p left. Did get some great stuff for xmas and to put in my emergency present drawer.
The best thing was a dvd/kakaoke for my mum. She doesn't have a dvd player yet, but this one comes with 2 mics for only £17.49 and got a 3 disc cdg to go with for £4.16.
Also got some really nice venetian glass frames £1.50
Hair accessories all at 50p each.
Big pillar candles 30p each
Magnetic games £2
3 photo albums in case £2
weaning bowl sets £2 and spoons £1
got loads more but can't remember, but it was great to get it all free from my points. Even the SA was impressed!
OOh also, I had to get other stuff like nappies etc, so got one of the £20 giftcards to get a free beauty treatment, then went to another till and used it, so spent money I was going to anyway, got a free beauty treatment voucher. Must remember to send off for it!
Happy shopping!0 -

We did the same tonight too, however, the £6 free botanics weekend pamper kit would not come off when the SA scanned the voucher BUT luckily she manually reduced it to £0!0 -
Boots Botanics Antibacterial Shaving Gel £1.37
Boots Botanics Antibacterial Shaving Gel £0.00
100 voucher points + 5 normal so 32p for 2x shaving gels, thats the cheapest i have ever bought. Didnt think about the weekend pamper thing, now the 100 points voucher is used so not much point.
Great thanks0
