Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the family first aid kit.? I have the £5voucher (on the machine/not printed yet). What can I get with it?

How much is the first aid kit?.

    Thanks

From memory, I think it's for £5 off the Family First Aid kit which is £19.99.

    Hi

I was just wondering if anyone had just done a £10 phone top-up (without any other purchases) and got a £5 skincare voucher back. I am sure I have done this in the past but this time, even though the voucher code was shown on my receipt, the young sa informed phone top-ups don't qualify for the vouchers.

    Kind regards

I bagged this offer too and I got a 100 bonus points voucher from the Advantage Card machine for buying something from the Botanics for Men range.

So I managed to get the following: -

Boots Botanics Antibacterial Shaving Gel £1.37
Boots Botanics Antibacterial Shaving Gel £0.00
    Botanics Weekend Pamper Pack £0.00
    100 bonus points worth £1.00
    Plus 6 standard points
    Effective outlay 31p

** Revised because I forgot about the standard points! Makes it an even better deal. **

Just grabbed this lot myself this afternoon.

The Weekend pamper pack didn't automatically deduct and the assitant had to call for the supervisor. She was fine about it being part of the deal and even comented on how it isn't fair that mens products aren't automatically classed as facial products.

I did spend £40+ on other things and having the missus and a 15month old kid in the pram probably helped me look like a genuine customer and not one out to bag a freebie.

    Top bargin, thanks
  • Hi,
Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere within the last few pages, I havent got time to read thru unfortunately, but today I was shopping for last min hols stuff, checked the advantage machine, and it was giving me £1 off Soltan Aftersun Balm. Thought it was worth having a nosy, and found that, although its £5.99 original price, its also on BOGOF, so a lovely little bargain, making the after sun tubs effectively £2.50 each once the £1 off coupon is used.
May be of help to those of you planning on visiting sunnier climates soon x
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

Yes I did this the other day along with a 75 points from the advantage machine on a £10 spend.

I purchased two of these today, at two different Boots. The voucher for the free Weekend Pamper Pack didn't scan, so a manager had to come over and decided that shaving gel didn't count as "face and body". The SA proceeded to grab a Botanics face cream - to test the voucher - and the voucher still didn't work with the obviously stated products! After about 15 minutes in each store, both managers decided to give me the deal, but it did take some time.
    I :heart2: Waitrose
  • That's weird that the coupon doesn't even scan with the face creams.

I had a delay at the till whilst the young SA went to check with a supervisor. She came back and said it should have worked and put it thru as no charge.

It was the Facial Pamper Box worth £6 I picked up. I noticed other pamper packs on the shelf too. But I'm sure the coupon stated it was only for the facial one. Will made a nice gift to someone. Thanks whoever spotted this one.;)
