  • Going to Boots xmas evening tomorrow, only going to buy £30 in top ups & the rest in baby essentials (nappies, wipes etc) to make it up to £50 so hopefully they will have everything I want. Even on 3 for 2 the toys are usually cheaper elsewhere.

I have a few queries with regards boots.com.

I haven't used Boots online before but we are after a new washer and Boots look like the best deal so far (taking into account quidco and advantage points - good grief I am getting the hang of the mse way of life!)

Now I have read previously on this thread that they are currently having a triple points offer but I can only find a double points offer on the website.

Also I have printed, from the advantage machine this evening (during the Christmas Night at Newcastle Boots) a voucher indicating 1000 extra points when I spend £75 or more on quoting the promotional code. BUT the offer is not available in Boots 'Other Shops' - does this mean I can't use it. Am I just being a tad greedy?

Also just a note on the Boots Christmas night in Eldon Square Newcastle. There was bucks fizz, mulled wine, shortbread, choccy biscuits and sandwiches. Christmas music (which my husband got a bit annoyed by - until I had to explain that it was a CHRISTMAS SHOPPING NIGHT!!!)

I was expecting to just spend only approximately £50 (which included a £10 boots voucher received via Pigsback) and after I got a couple of necessities and two Christmas presents I had earned my extra 1000 points plus I used my double points voucher from my last posting from boots and I received a £5 No 7/Ruby and Millie voucher.

So..... I had to plod around boots again, this time getting majority of presents, including a more expensive present for my best friend using the Ruby & Millie voucher. Getting another 1000 points and another ruby and millie voucher!!!

I went into boots with £18.65 on my advantage card. I have left with £45.85!!!

What an achievement!! And I saved £33.43!!!

    I am a happy bunny.

Now just got to work out how to do this bet matching malarkey!!!!

No, the Ruby and Millie set was still full price (£35). Shame as I had thought of getting it if it was reduced.

Just been to a Boots Christmas evening.

Saw no mulled wine or mince pies, place was packed, didnt have the toys i wanted, hardly any tills on (they must have known it would be busy), printed a voucher from ACM for 350 extra points for a £40 spend when scanned it didnt go on and was told cause it was the christmas evening it didnt apply!!! SA serving me was helpful tho, had loads of coupons which she scanned and then made sure came off and 2 gift cards (from refunds) to use which took a £92 bill down to me only having to pay 55p in cash!! Got just under £20 in points back too!

I see you are in Aberdeen, so we were probably at the same shopping night!! I was lucky and got a glass of wine when we went in. Agree about the toys there were hardly any good ones on the shelves although I did get a few. I got a voucher for 250 points when spending £30 and I am sure I got the points although it is hard to tell. Anyway spent £216, but got around £340 of goods and £70 on my AC. Fantastic!!

Without a receipt they will offer you an exchange only. How ever, creams are not cosmetics, so you won't have any problems to exchange it for sth else. Even if the boxes were opened you might say that creams caused a rash and they definitely take it back :P

Daniele Ryman products are currently on offer in my local Boots at any two products for £10. Grabbed myself a couple of £18 products and a couple of £15 products. Very happy because I now have 4 Christmas pressies worth £66 in total, and only paid £20 for them :)
