  • Did anyone else buy from boots when the 10% offer was on, use a code for the free 500 points and go through quidco. I did but my quidco didn't track yet it normally is fine. Just wondered if it was because I had the free points as well thus combining 2 offers. If you did and your quidco tracked can you let me know and then I can chase mine up. Didn't want to if I was in the wrong. Thanks.

They never tracked my orders either. I made 3 orders but since they were all under £1 Im not bothering, although it is annoying isnt it

Some big Boots, I know the one in Chester does, sell magazines so if you got your Marie Claire there you would in theory be over the £10 (and get a skincare voucher, they are still going arent they?)

But wouldn't you have to buy the magazine first and then use the voucher in a different transaction?
  • What has everyone been buying with the skincare voucher (that you get free when you spend over a tenner)? Have you been using it to buy something for less than a fiver, or have you been buying something that costs more than £5 and putting money towards it?

Not if you always carry scissors with you (as I do for such occassions) and cut the coupon out before going to the till

  • QUOTE=mhoc]Has anyone tried this yet and what can you get for £7.95? Are there dearer items you can add to? I am thinking of something that looks good enough to be a Christmas present.

But would you not get into trouble for doing this before you've paid? We weren't allowed to let people do it in tesco's until they'd paid for the magazine/newspaper, incase they had no intention of buying the mag, or if they'd ripped a page out for the voucher and got to the till and had forgot their purse or something, cause then the mag couldn't be put back on the shelf with a page missing. I know you'll check you've got your purse etc on you, but does securitry not mind?

I didn't need anything from skincare, so wasn't intend to spend anything. I took Time delay hand cream (£5), cleanser, exfoliator and lotion (£4,50 each). HTH
  • Thanks! My local boots is teeny tiny, so doesn't have much in the range. The only thing under a fiver were some time delay face wipes so I've got a few of them. But I'm going to a bigger boots tomorrow so it helps to know what to look out for, thanks!
