I remember last year OH bought stacks of copies and we got so many free things.
I think it was early autumn as one of the money of vouchers was for a birthing ball which we bought in the lead up to DS's birth.
I so hope they run it again this year.
What was this offer? I never saw it.
I've just been into bots yesterday, trying to find something to buy with my free £5 skincare voucher. Got three packs of boots face wipes, which were £3.99 each0 -
Hi all, popped into boots today, not a bad day at all!
Got the kids pack free with the cough syrup, although I noted on the till receipt it scans at 0.01p and goes down to 0.00 as link save.. I wonder if you could have just paid the penny? hmmmm..
Got the baby monitor, and 100 points if you spend over £15 plus 25% off any shapers bar, so picked up a few of those, nice treat for the kiddies and hubby who were patiently waiting in the car!
Had a No17 nail varnish for 49p as I had a £1 off voucher, plus another £1 off at the advantage machine! Bargain I reckon.
I purchased a No7 product, and expected to get the free bag, forgot it's purchases over 15 not 12, so I just bought it anyway as didn't want to hold up the queue! Might take it back and get a refund, since I really only wanted the product if I was going to get the bag with it...
I was tempted to get the botanics kit, but didn't want to buy things for the sake of it, especially as minimum is £5 now!
Was going to use my BOGOF med voucher, which I've had for ages, but couldn't find anything I particularly liked. Got the £5 voucher which I'll use sometime in the week.
Still quite pleased, though.. I think I'm catching the boots bug! Eek!
P.S - still no free wipes!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -

I also wondered about paying the penny, but I bought the cough syrup and took two bags to the till to see what would happen, and one scanned at 1p and then came off as a link save, and she wouldn't scan the other since I'd only bought one medicine so they probably wouldn't let you pay a penny for it. I was a bit dissappointed with it anyways, TBH. My kids can't have the vitamins cause they're under three, and the vouchers weren't any good for me. All for too many different kinds of vitimins!
Still no free wipes for me either!0 -

Sorry only just read this bit after replying to the last bit. i thought it was £12 too, will have to watch out for that. How much did you have to pay for it?0 -
Hiya. It cost £14, the product is OK, but usually, I wouldn't pay that kind of price for it.Princessa wrote:Sorry only just read this bit after replying to the last bit. i thought it was £12 too, will have to watch out for that. Cerenia wrote:The Geisha boxes - are they £1 or £2 can someone confirm? Boths have been said, and I wanted to know before travelling especially for a few instead of a lunchbreak tomorrow.
They were £2 each in the Lakeside branch.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -
Had an exciting day yesterday -
2 Botanics Shaving Gels (£2.75, bogof) and free pamper kit - £11.50 for £2.75.
4 packs of Boots own Tena pants on offer, £3 off per pack meaning almost half price (for mum, honest!!!!)
Face cream £7.99 , £2.99 with £5 voucher
Face cream £14.99 down to £7.99, £2.99 with £5 voucher
Different combinations of 100 & 150 points, did as 2 tranactions, double points on both.
Mums stuff paid with cash, rest with Pigsback Boots vouchers, change on git card.
V successful - BUT - am sure I didn't have the type of wrinkles that needed face creams before I started on this board!!!!! Is it just me, or does everyone's brain explode trying to work out what combination to buy things in
.
Never mind Sudoku - how about a REAL challenge based on combining a) ideas posted on here, b) items you intend buying, c) vouchers off machine (2 diff cards obviously....), d) in store offers you didn't know about in advance, e) items on sale shelf, f) mailed out double points vouchers etc. Mix them all together and see who can sort it out quickest........ took me 25 minutes and a headache yesterday.......A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

The machine print out now states a £5 spend needed on Face and Body Botanics to claim a weekend pack. I don't know how buying two 99p soaps worked for you.
I bought £6 worth of mens Botanics yesterday and got the Weekend pack that way (also used the 100pts coupon).
well i bought mens products and the SA said I couldn't have the weekend pack as it had to be womens products only???? I noticed today that you have to spend over £50 -
Today in Boots Prospect centre hull they had loads of Childrens books reduced. Horrid Henry were £1, some spiderwick chronicles £2, and young childrens books £1, they also had lots of Osh Kosh at £20

I took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free offer on Mosquito repellent. Now, I had a squirt yesterday evening as I play tennis up until dark and the midges etc., are gunning for me this year at dusk. I seem to be reacting to the Boots Extra Protection Spray, do you think they will let me return them.SallyD0
