Now, I had a squirt yesterday evening as I play tennis up until dark and the midges etc., are gunning for me this year at dusk. I seem to be reacting to the Boots Extra Protection Spray, do you think they will let me return them.
yes that's fine - just explain that you had a reaction to it and they will give u a refund0 -
Has anyone found the £1.24 17 nail varnishes, which would be free with the two vouchers (£1 from mag and 50p from ACM)?
I've only seen the £2.49 ones, which would make them 99p, which is cheap, but as I don't actually need any nail polish, I could only justify buying it if it was free... :rotfl:0 -

I bought 2 Botanics facial products on Saturday, spent £6, and the free pamper pack still didn't work! The SA overrode the till for me, but on the receipt I noticed I was charged £1 for it. I went back to show him, I think he was so fed up of me, he just gave me the money out of the till.
In a separate transaction, I redeemed my no7 parenting voucher for the glycolic peel kit, plus bought a ROC cleanser (7.25) and used the £5 skincare voucher. I was expecting to pay just 2.25 for the cleanser, but I noticed I have been charged 3.64 for the no7 kit. What's going on with their tills?? Why was I charged for the kit?0 -

I had this happen last week too, I bought a no7 item which should have been free with the No7 parenting voucher and also a pack of no7 wipes, using the £5 skincare voucher, which then should have cost £1 and I ended up paying £4 for the no7 item.
There must be something strange going on when both of those vouchers are used in the same transaction or when 2 items which come under the £5 skincare offer are bought in the same transaction.0 -
I have just been to the Woking store - and what a hassle again! Second time of trying to use vouchers from the machine etc and NONE went on. Firstly I bought the self tan wipe (100 points) and this didnt go on. Then I bought huggies wet wipes (150 points) which again didn't go on and then I tried to use the pamper kit voucher. I was there for ages! In the end the points were added manually for the wipes, but I said I didn't want the self tan wipe because she said she would have to refund and put it through separately (and I was on my lunch). They hadn't got a clue about the pamper kit (supposedly!). On a brighter note, I bought 2 lots of Botanics foundation which was reduced to £2.50 but actually went through at £1! they are next to the rimmel stand on the end for anyone who goes to Woking!!!0

Annoying how ACM gives different value vouchers to different people again... :rolleyes:0 -

it was Woking store that I had problems with too. They are lying about the pamper kit - they knew all about on Saturday when I was in there for a good 20 minutes trying to sort it out!!
Thanks for the tip about the Botanics foundation.0 -
It's slightly o/t but be really careful with the glycolic peel, I would advise doing a small patch test for a couple of hours.
I got one which turned me beetroot red and itchy, then my friend tried and found the same (worse for her as she had to go to work!)Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0
