Oh wow, yea that is the car. Sorry to reply late, but was on my lunch break.

How I can definitely check it if it is bogus? What does a HPI check mean?

Btw thank you all for your comments :-)

    Cheers

But why would you think it was real? Im sorry but how can you be so naive? It's people like yourself that are scammed day in day out.

Surely you would have went through all the other 2008 Corsas on the website and found that £3100 was way off the norm. I mean if there are 50 x 2008 cars on for £6500 and 1 on for £3100, what does that tell you?

For £3100 you should be looking at cars 4-5yrs old.

    ETA: I have done.
    Keep us informed please :)

I emailed asking about 'the car' and got this reply from 'Octavian Trapp'.

Hello and thanks for your interest,

I appreciate that you contacted me. First let me say that the 2008 Vauxhall Corsa SXI, petrol, with only 3500 miles is available for sale. The price I`m looking for is £3,100.00 + free shipping to your door.

This car has never had paintwork and needs nothing. One of the best all around driving cars you can buy. If you have been waiting on a real clean enthusiast owned Corsa you have found it.

Probably the cleanest Vauxhall for sale anywhere. The interior is very clean and the body of the car is in perfect condition, no dents, dings, cracks or scratches anywhere. The engine runs very smooth and strong without any mechanical issues. The transmission is also in perfect condition running without any issues, no rust at all, corrosion free vehicle. Never been in any accidents. HPI Clear.

I purchased the vehicle from England and used it while I worked there. Now because of the financial crisis I moved for a new job in Italy. I brought the vehicle here in Italy with me, but as the crisis is getting worse I can't afford to keep it anymore. Probably you are wondering why I am selling it for such a low price. The market price for right handed vehicles is very low in Italy and having a lower price than the UK market will bring me a buyer faster than having a high one.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
    Best Regards,
    Octavian Trapp

which I think I can safely say is out of the first chapter of 'My first book of scams'.

I think I'll ask him for some photos, how I can get the car back from Italy, and how I can pay for it;)

ocvtavia is a car and it certainly is a trapp! to get your cash. octavian trapp= car trap, a scam. this dumb a$$ has used a a custom acronym for his name in the email reply. it is fraud and you could contact the police to investigate it but this guy could easily be useing an internet cafe as his base thus the ip wont be trackable to his home address. and probably used jo blogs or jon doe as his registration name for yahoo accounts and other accounts.
