Vauxhall Corsa- URGENT HELP!!

Hi guys,

It is time for me to finally buy my car, I have been saving up for a while and I was thinking that I wanted a Astra, but seeing as it is on the pricey side and I rather that the car is a bit newer, I have gone for the corsa.

Not sure if I can put the link up of a car that I saw on autotrader, but here is the specs:

Silver Vauxhall Corsa, 2008 (58 reg), 3500 miles, drives perfect for £3100

Basically I wanted to know if this was a good price, because I am not really sure and I don't want to be ripped off... and if this is good (as it seems) I want to buy it straight after seeing it!

Look forward to all feedback...

Thanks a bunch

BH :-) xx

Seems like an exellent price for a car of that age, however I would maybe get someone to check it over before I completed the sale, just incase it is 'too good to be true' :T
  • Hi

3100.00 for a 2008 car to me is very very reasonable. Infact Id start thinking.. whats wrong with it? I would suggest either yourself or someone mechanically minded having a look around it (incase its been bumbed & repaired etc).

If all's still good - go for it.

    What model is it.

I have a Corsa Design. Its an Plate, bright red, I paid (9.2 for mine) it was pregistered in May and i bought it in October with only 18 miles on the clock.

Brilliant car, smooth ride, plenty of room

Are you buying private or from a dealer, is there any room to haggle.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

It's too cheap, get an HPI check done on it, there is almost certainly something dodgy about it.

Deffo too cheap, It has done over average mileage though for a 58 plate, if it's basic spec and the owner wants a quick sale it is probably about right. It is a Vauxhall which unfortunately depreciate more than if it was a BMW etc.

You reckon 3,500 miles is above average for a 1 year old car?????
