  • spud, she might find her knee joint is very stiff in the morning. it might be as well to take her to the dr's incase she's chipped the bone (her knee cap that is).

Spud - I've seen rolls of that non slip stuff in a pound shop - you could put it under a new rug to be doubly safe;)

Got back from work today to discover a lovely letter from the Council stating that they had been overpaying me by £140 per month for my HB for the past few weeks, despite me taking in all my papers the minute they requested them and keeping them informed of the fact that DD1 is now at Uni so I no longer receive CB for her. Not only are they reducing my HB by £140 per month, I must also pay them back the money they made the mistake of sending me because the department did not process the stuff I brought in. Not happy but fear I've got no choice. !!!!!!....you provide all this stuff they need and they still manage to make a nawls-up of it.

    Rant over.

Is Mrs Dalloway any good? I read To The Lighthouse but didn't really like it.

Suzy, you don't have to pay. In cases of official error they can ask you to pay it back, but can't force you. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. You'll need someone to fight it for you though, so get to CAB asap. In my case I had DIAL.

Elfen, good luck at the psych. I've got mine next monday and the crap's really going to hit the fan over the letter from the ME clinic. It's good to know there's someone on my side though and prepared to help.

Scaredy, good luck getting it back! Often they wait till the new CT year (April) and either refund it or apply it to next years bill. I got mine back quickly and easily though, just had to ask nicely!
