It was a good buffet - and lovely to enjoy it without doing anything official. Wine too.
My heating has been on whilst I have been out (Bookie slaps her own wrists) but I'm still cold.0 -

Dilema.
The county office staff go out for a meal at Christmas and my boss and I are invited. It will be £17 for 2 courses, £4.50 for desert.
I decided not to go for obvious reasons but now they want to pay for me - especially as it is my last year and they want me there.0 -

Mmmm coffee baileys is lush!
Are any of you good at maths? I'm going to start saving for a masters in January but I can't get my head around how much. I need to save around 3.5k. There'll be two and a half years till it starts, when I'll pay half, then another year till I have to pay the other half. To complicate it more, from Jan 2011 I'll have £90 a month free that I'm currently saving towards debts. Oh, and my 'months' are 4 weeks, so there's 13 in a year. I was going to save £100 a month, but that'll be a real pinch, and I think it's a bit too much given that I can increase it in a year.
Pap, isn't that like torturing yourself, so much chocolate when you can't eat it? I know I couldn't do it, so even more kudos to you!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Bookie, go to the dinner! It's their way of showing how much they appreciate you, and after all you've done for them it's only right too.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
