Which of your negative feedbacks has annoyed you most

Well I think all of my feedback has been unecessary, like ones for items lost in post!.....but the one that riled me the most and wanted me to commit murder for was from an idiot who bought a brand named (authentic) jacket from me....it sold for under £30 so I just posted non recorded. So the guy puts in and wins a Paypal dispute, i didnt challenge it only for him to leave me negative stating that I sold counterfeit goods of naff quality.....
I was fumiong and gutted and even more disappointed that Ebay would not remove it even though i argued that they could not know the quality of my goods if they have not received it.
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D

i think the most annoying negative (and only neg) i got was a few years ago, i had bought my kids a norbert the bear, apid for it by cheque which the seller was ok about, they sent it soon as they got the cheque then the day after the cheque cleared, left neg and tried to do a NPB strike on me. and then started sending me nasty emails

had to get ebay to remove their feedback, which they did eventually

Not feedback as such, but I have had a buyer complain that a new LEATHER bag smelled strongly of ....you guessed it....LEATHER! I resisted temptation to ask who inherited the brain cell in her family
  • I got a neg for a papier-mâch! ornament which the buyer thought was made of wood?!?!
  • I got a neg a few years ago for a jumer I sold. They said it was worn, out of shape and needs to be binned". SO I wrote to ebay using their feedback defam form and they removed the neg as the buyer dodnt make any contact with me prior to the feedback - which is against ebays rules.

I got one over them in a very childish way by sending them all the junk mail we get in the post. Once a month I used to bundle stuff up in an envelope and ppst from various locations around the UK lol
  • I've just got my first negative on ebay after selling a large item that was delivered by citylink, the guy was not in so they take photos of cards being put through the front door as proof that they tried to deliver....he then said that he had got no cards and wanted us to deliver again, after calls to the courier again they tried to deliver and guess what...left another card and took a photo....he again said he didnt have the card and he wanted money back etc....I reckon he changed his mind because he didnt reply to our e-meils when we said go to pick up from the depot.
After supplying proof of attempted delivery and asking the buyer to make further payment to deliver, paypal have choosen to be in favour of the buyer and we are out of pocket with the del charge, he has now left neg feedback, i have left fb saying he is a liar but ebay doesnt allow neg fb so its positive but i have stated liar liar liar....
The whole situation has annoyed me as we have photos of his front door with card!!!! but paypay seem to protect the buyer more than the seller.

I didn't get a neg for this one as I played into the buyer's hands but it still ticked me off. They bought a fancy dress costume for a party, and the day after the party had passed opened up a SNAD  Costume was brand new and unworn and the buyer claimed the zip didn't work, the worst excuse I have ever heard. I agreed to refund because it's less hassle, and of course there was nothing wrong with the zip when I received it back. The buyer had obviously worn it for the party and then sent it back, made quite apparent by the fact the costume returned with perfume smell on it.
  • I got a neg stating "This XL is smaller than my other XLs"

Just a question... is it definitely his door?
By the way, that positive you left qualifies for removal.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

It's even worse than that as anecdotal evidence appears to be founded on truth for once. Once a seller leaves a positive for a buyer the transaction is deemed to be acceptable to that seller so they can no longer do any form of NPB or leave a strike (not that it would be appropriate in this case anyway).

There was a thread on the community boards last week where a pink appeared to confirm that this was actually true, and a positive meant that a non paying bidder could have their strike reversed and lose the seller their FVFs.

  • I have given up with ebay not for these very reasons. The whole system is a joke.
I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.
