HD2 on O2?

I believe technically it is the HTC Touch HD2 and is the successor to the HTC Touch HD but agreed it seems unnecessarily pedantic.0

Local O2 shop now has dummy phone on display but they don't have any stock!0

Thank you all - sounds I might not be the only one confused by it!
I might hold on until O2 gets them on sale... Mobiles - "approved by O2" does that mean they will start selling them now/soon?
Thanks0 -

I think if you look on their website, they're already showing them on O2 tariffs.0 -

what he means by "approved by O2" is that the CPW Group, (CPW/Mobiles/E2Save) can sell the HD2 on O2 tarrifs, not that O2 themselves are selling0 -
I bought mine off O2 Direct over the phone on 20th November for £277.72. Shame its sim locked to O2 however they did say they would unlock it within 28 days,.0

Sorry here's another question I hope someone can help with - I just spoke to mobiles.co.uk as they have some good deals on the HD2 with O2. However, they're now allowed to sell internet for O2, so I was told I will need a separate bolt on from O2 to get internet, priced at £7.34.
I'm currently with Orange, so will be a new customer with O2. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to get internet with them, or is this bolt-on the only way?
Thank you again0
