Yes, they seem to have popped up only recently on a few threads. Treat the same.

There was a thread on pepipoo where one of these turned up 2-3 years later, not sure what happened but I think it died a death as normal.

There was no extant debt to purchase.
Their letter misleads somewhat.
They purchased a list, nothing more.

I also have a Parking Collection Services Ltd Debt Purchased letter. I noticed the address, bank and style of letter are similar to those sent byDebt Recovery plus Ltd so I'm holding tight on the basis that another arm of the same company now have the debt. Still nervouse when the letters arrive but not paying.

A debt collector is still just a debt collector and almost all PPCs use them (or at least use headed notepaper that looks like a DC). Just because they've written the letter in a different style to say 'debt purchased' that doesn't suddenly make it a real debt nor does it give them powers they simply don't have.

Keep ignoring, and the nerves will go in the end when you realise you've got shot of them.
