Lots of cars having blue badges also park in disabled parking spaces without the driver being disabled or the car itself carrying a disabled person (s). This is also morally wrong.

Dr stutzhunter, Have you performed medical assessments of these drivers whom you allege are not disabled.

I appreciate the point you're trying to make [namely that it's not possible to tell if someone is disabled merely by looking at them] but surely you're not using that to argue that there is no abuse of the blue badge scheme????

The scheme is massively abused - have a google if you don't believe me.
  • I'm new to this and maybe morally wrong but can you reassure me? My husband received a Civil Traffic Enforcement Notice from UKPC for £45 as the RK. I was driving at night to a venue where the car park was full except for the many disabled bays, so I parked in one as to park further away from the venue would have put my safety at risk. Should husband appeal or ignore as not the driver at the time. Thanks

Ignore. No laws have been broken.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

    There is no appeals process.

There is no such thing as a "Civil Traffic Enforcement Notice".

Ignore and they will go away after a few letters.

Ooooh, you are probably near the end of their letter series then, maybe just one more 'final final reminder - we are really solicitors and we really mean it' letter to go!

Let them threaten. Let them swivel. Laugh at their inept letters.

You'll miss them when they stop, I was hoping to hear again from the Debt Collectors acting for my PPC but they seem to have given up with us now! Clearly they don't like being ignored - tough!
