  • I didn't wake up til 10:30 :eek: It's done me good tho I was worn out last night. Feeling ok this morning! Got to go into the village and get my meds and then go to Guildford and get my hair cut. So I'd better go and get washed and dressed!

Rose you reminded me that I need to get a new battery for my pedometer, it failed on me last week and I keep forgetting  before it failed I was on 11000+ steps for the day.
Wow, that's a lotta steps! DH got me a new one y'day, the clip snapped off on the other one. So I can start again today, yay!

I have recently been diagnosed with MS. It also gets me down when there is so much to do and i'm not well enough to do it. That usually ends in me trying to do everything then getting very ill. Routine here is saturday morning beds stripped and in wash, matresses then air all day and fresh bedding put on for that night.
Big hugs, it must be a huge shock and it will take time to get used to it. How did it go with the occupational health people today?
Good morning everyone and thankyou for all the kind and welcoming comments yesterday. This is day 2 in my quest for a clean and orderly house. Before I found you wonderful people the task was just overwhelming but it's now looking like something I can do. Anyway, I'm feeling all fired up and positive so I'm off to do some work. I'll post what I've achieved later.

:T:T You can do it, one step at a time

Hugs Holly where did the cone come from that was put on the roof of your car? People are such idiots, and it’s so hard to find places to park, I really sympathise with you. What did they scratch your car with?

FFP, hope you are ok today

Thinking of you Lady Liberty and Tris

    Welcome back SSL

    Hugs Pigpen

    Hugs Diva

    Good news Macpep

Toots, thinking of you, how bad of your carer not to come!

Valli Hope you find your keys

Ok, am off to get ready and then go out. Probably won't get much flying done today to be honest. See you later!

    Morning all

I've marzipanned my Christmas cake today. Then vacuumed the kitchen, living room and hallway. One load of washing hanging round, it's sunny at the moment but we've had showers this morning. And it's chilly.

    Hope LL is doing OK.

suppose so... I've just put some more laundry in (shut the door, then couldn't remember whether I'd put washing powder in  so bunged some in the drawer... hope I don't get bubbles everywhere!)

I need to get some paperwork done :o

pigpen - just take all the children's appt letters - that at least must be some sort of proof? and what about getting the doctor's letter when you have money next week - tell the uni it will follow - has to be worth paying for it if it lets you defer! And you will have a copy of the divorce papers soon too!
    toots xx

It is sorted now anyway.. my mother rang while I was there sounding distraught so I happened to mentioned family with cancer/leukaemia and one being in critical care.. that went on too lol.. she said they let people off with less!

Does anyone want a metal fireplace? the one from my sitting room is going spare... it's a reproduction of a victorian bedroom fireplace (quite a big one, I can measure it), and doesn't have all the internal bits it needs to be usable, but I'm sure that if you wanted to use it you could track them down. It's free to anyone who has the energy to come and take it away :D. Alternatively, any suggestions as to what to do with it - I don't have the time to do ebay...

Weigh it in!! You get scrap value money for the weight and they will sell it on for a huge amount of money as 'reclaimed'

Off to do something from my list now I have sorted the mail.. number 1 job... pay 2 bills.. number 2 job.. take DD4's new boot in to have the raise fitted.
