I've had a really nice morning out in the sunshine with a friend. Am pretty tired now, so going to watch Doctors and then go to bed.
When I wake up, I plan to wash up and clean the windowsill and find something for dinner. We have a lot of food here and are a bit overwhelmed with choice! I really need to make space in the freezer to put some things in there that we got on Monday. I keep trying to get DH to drill a hole in the front door so we can plug in the other freezer but he keeps putting it off. It will make things a lot easier when we can use it tho!

ETA I am going up into the loft to get the fabric advent calenders, door wreath and outdoor lights for the Christmas tree. If I don't post in the next 30 mins could someone alert the emergency services and also make sure the SWs are picked up from school!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Hello, I'm sorry to butt into this thread, but I've just started the flylady's babysteps today.
I am shining my sink (bleach is sitting in the sink as I type). But the surrounding area is in chaos, dishes need doing, countertops are filthy, the dish drainers are yucky...
Should I just shine my sink and tackle the rest later? Or should I have tidied up and done the dishes before starting?0 -
I haven't read the thread yet, forgive me.
While I was talking to Tristan in the early hours he started to feel worse (not normally the effect I have on him) and he started to cough up blood. He is now having emergency surgery.. But the Doctors are not hopeful.
Could I please ask for your prayers and thoughts? He keeps beating the odds but you have to wonder when that ends..
I was going to post this hours ago.. not sure where the time went.
I know it seems like I keep asking for help for Tris, and I know I have had nearly an extra year since the coma he was in and not supposed to come out of; but I hope you will forgive me for asking again.
Thank you all.

Ah, its not a good day today. OH's uncle died last night - we kind of knew it was coming but still a bit of a shock - so OH is off today and is just generally down. I seem to have aquirred a lovely bout of the cold, and I have an assessment tonight.
Try to cheer up the OH
Really sorry to hear your news. Your OH needs to be down, he has just lost his uncle, don't worry about cheering him up just try to understand his pain and start to come to terms with things x.
Driving to Ortho was a a nightmare with my shoulder hurting so much especially as it is all parallel parking on a busy high street. Still back now. Need to fight with the PCT as the ortho (DS2's) says that the ortho at the other practice has not finished the job for DS1 but has had all the funding. He can't take him on as NHS unless the PCT agree. First phone call made, this could be a long haul.
Can't go to pilates due to shoulder so going to try to do some bits off my list which don't require much movement! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I haven't done any flying yet. I've spent most of the morning at Nev's with the gorgeous kittens. I think i'm coming down with this coldy bug the kids have had so my energy levels are really low. The lack of sleep the other night hasn't helped either i expect.
