  • Hi, I don't have set days as such but with 3 kids I feel like I never stop. Is there anyone who could give you a hand and maybe turn it into a social type occassion and get the majority of work done once a week or have you enquired about any help from Social Services, just thinking if they could do a major clean like once a month and then there isn't as much for you to do??

have a set day for doing washing, ironing etc?

I have Multiple Sclerosis & really struggle to get all my jobs done

I wondered if it may be better if I was to do set jobs on set days?

I get really down if I don't feel well & there is so much to do.

Any ideas? What does everyone else do?

Why don't you come and join the fly lady thread? I have ME and it really does help, plus the support over there is great especially if your having a bad day.;)

  • Blagged for toots. Took me by surprise it was so early! Perhaps Pen Pen could do a shuffle?

    I can do :D

I'm in again, but unless I get a wriggle on, I'm not going to finish last week  Off to check, and report back :o

Thanks to toots, pigpen and the Saponificatious One for all you do :A

    Hi annie

sorry to hear of your struggles. Why not join the flyladies who usually do different rooms on different days. Start at level 1 for the first week and see how you go. It gets easier in the long run. During the day flyers often have half hour challenges where you go away see what you can do in the time then come back and post. The motivation really helps. Although dont try and keep up with reading all the posts at first as it will stop you doing anything. I personally am usually at work mon - fri so sundays is usually washday (for 4 of us) as I am about in the kitchen doing roast etc.

    Good luck whatever you decide

  • Hello everyone - I'm new to this - so please be gentle :o I'm fed up of not being on top of things, and it being nearly Christmas, want a lovely sparkly home :A

I'll be starting off gentle this week, as I have an exam on Thursday, so will be doing lots of revising, but here's my list....

Monday- Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
Make time for yourself!! An hour of studying.
    Level Two
    Wipe sofas
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt backs!
Sort coats and shoes and bags
    Binbag dance..
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
