Hiya
Just to let you know that I finally got all the relevant docs from LTSB and they even had the paperwork from 2002, which I refinanced in 2003, would I be able to claim back on that one as well? I also am a bit confused as to why I can claim on my later loan, I did take the PPI as I thought it was a good idea as I had claimed on it the loan before, but the lady did not explain that I could shop around or how it actually worked. And at no point has anyone from LTSB ever explained that to me either. I shall be writing my letter to them asking for my refund this weekend and have my fingers crossed.
Thank you for the support on here0 -
Also another quick question, I have 46 payment left on a 7 yr loan can I cancel the PPI that is on it now and would I get any refund do you think?0

Hi there
That's good news then.:T
Yes go for it, both me and hubby were both successful with 2001 ppi on credit cards and now on to the loan ppi side of it.
There are a few posts on here that many have still been successful even if a claim have been made, but as you have your reasons give it a go, good luck.

You can do this if you want to, but as its after the cooling period its unlikely there will be little refund - if any, and the only thing with Lloyds is they tend to deal with these complaint such as - if you want to cancel, you would have to take out a new loan without ppi to pay off the existing loan, if you do this then make sure the rate of the loan is equal to the existing loan or better, then you can still continue to make a reclaim on the ppi and interest etc.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I made a claim for the PPI of my credit cards but when I asked for copies of old statements they said yes but they are £10 each!!!! So I worked out an average rate and claimed for 6 years, but surprise surprise copies appeared today. The true amount is well under what I claimed for but I noticed I wasnt paying PPI for a year even though I was using this card quite a lot but as soon as I made a large balance transfer they started to charge PPI the robbing barstewards.
Time for another letter, with a better chance of a refund I hope.0 -

Statements work out very expensive and yet if you request a SAR this should include everything they still hold on you plus statements, and transcripts of calls, emails and so on.
Yet this is also £10 but normally more entailed.
For more details on a SAR, linkie here......:D

Hi there
sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
If you have the same reasons for being mis sold then yes that is fine, and of course write all account numbers.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi All
Happy New Year to you all
Just to let you know that I have had a response from LTSB saying that they are sorry I am unhappy with their service and they are investigating my complaint and that I should hear from them within 4 weeks to let me know how it is going. I live in hope that they will pay out without having to to go to the FOS :rotfl: Thank you for the support.0 -
