There is loads to do for kids. The free attractions are the Museum of Childhood (on the Royal Mile), Chambers Street Museum, walk up Arthurs Seat, trip down to Portobello Beach. If you want to pay there is Leith Waterworld which has 2 flumes, wavepool etc and also softplay for the little ones, Royal Y Britannia down at Ocean Terminal, Gladstones Land (near Edinburgh Castle), Dynamic Earth, Molly's Play Centre at Ocean Terminal to name but a few.0
