I want a pink set but more for the idea of them being mine then not his (OH) and hopefully not ending up in his tool case getting scruffy. I've got no colour vision at all so they'll look no different to me lol.

it was a bit of an eye opener about the whole culture in general

It's good to get your eyes opened now and again as we can all get tied up in our own little worlds that even people living in our own society seem different never mind other country's :)

No, here... er ... marriages/family board I think.

    I know .. I know ... !!!!!! would I know about anything. Anyway ... gave my opinion/thoughts ... wasn't wanted.

Quite right too PN. If people invite comments and suggestions then they have to accept what they're offered, the palatable and the not so.

You made a perfectly logical and feasible suggestion, in a not impolite manner, and there was no reason to be pilloried by anyone. You may just have hit a little too close to home for the comfort of some.

I it seems offended somebody with mental health issues who's now been banned under a few different names for being very abusive and been pming me death threats.

    Happy days lol.

That's shocking jetta. I hope they continue to stay away though, as we know, it's not easy to enforce a ban!

The potential for people with mental health issues to let loose with all sorts of stuff has occurred to me. I've seen one or two posters who look to have fitted that bill!

To be fair to MSE, they have a difficult job to maintain a safe, legal and reasonable forum in order that we can all enjoy it.

Indeed they have been pretty quick, they haven't actualy replied to me but they ave removed some of her posts and banned a couple of her user names. In response to having reported her most abusive post and getting her banned she pm'd me with this charming message....

"you made the biggest mistake in your life here jetta. people on the internet can befriend you, many months down the line, and find out where you live...and come visit.

you really should be more careful. some people have a long memories.

    now drop dead."

    how lovely :-)

I've found out that she's agrophobic but I'm guessing there's a lot more going on too besides that.

I'm somewhat bamused to be honest, but I really don't think internet forums and especialy debates or discussions with differing opinions are a very healthy enviroment for some people, it's easy to get too involved and worked up about them, or in this case, loose the plot all together.

It is also kinda sad though.

And another reason why I'm highly protective of my identity, etc. It's much better, imo, to err on the side of caution than to get too carried away on personal matters.
