Have you all survived the weekend?
We had a home baked ham for lunch today, with salad and that was probably pretty poor (I don't know what the calories would be?) but I was parsimonious serving my self. Ham means advent and festive season in our house....its easy for sandwhichs or sald when people are popping in and out and as a child I used to love the dough the ham was baked in. Now my husband likes itand he and the dogs line up for a very unhealthy treat. It happens just twice a year though usually, so I don't feel two guilty for the dogs or husband.
The oysters were just wonderful and have finally settled that craving, though I might have them every friday for a while! The champagne though...urgh...I felt shockingly bad on Saturday morning!
I've been dodging wine this weekend, the champagne helped. I wish people did these things in bleak January and February!
So, this week, friends, is I guess when it starts getting harder to circumnavigate mince pies and avoid vol au vents, but the pay off is worth it, and thats what we have to remember. When our jeans fit we'l have long forgotten the bypassed canapes and treats.0 -
Evening all - well done to all losers!
Have my first weigh in of the challenge on Weds and crossing everything I've got for a loss! x xx xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hi all D,DDD friends! Just popping into say that it's my 1st weigh in for this month - hoping for a loss, but am very doubtful
, don't know if it's the cold weather, but, just can't seem to stop eating - biscuits mostly!
On the plus side I have managed a fair bit of walking (school run), and trying to avoid using the car as much as possible, so am hoping that will go in my favour!
Just can't bear the though of a sts or gain this week, so I have everything crossed. I've got to get to the 5st mark before chrimbo - pleeeeese!
Oh well, only tomorrow will tell I suppose.
Good luck to all that also have weigh in's this week, finger's crossed for you all!
Will pop back in to let you know tomorrow.
Nite nite, xx:money::money::money::money:

Just had a complete meltdown
I burst into tears as I was trying to find some trousers on-line and they were either not sold in my size or were naff, coupled with an increase in pain and the ulcer etc and I told Dr Dragon he would be better off with me dead
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Rubbish,;) I bet Dr Dragon adores you and feels terrible you are upset. Don't worry about the trousers tonight. Come to them with fresh resolve tomorrow. Some of this bords Fashionistas are fantastic at suggestions and online shopping, and are not at all sizest, so perhaps get someone else to do the running?
Foundinrates (my DH) has suffered many similar outbursts from me and I know that what he cares about more is that I'm alive and getting the best health care possible..nothing else, and I'm pretty sure Dr Dragon would feel the same...they love us after all.
Best wishes The Dragon, I hope you have sweet dreams and feel better tomorrow.0 -
Just summoned up the courage to step on the scales and really wished I hadn't. I knew my weight was creeping up but I now need to lose 9-14lbs. I was hopng it would be closer to 5.
Having lost a lot of weight in the past I am determined not to have to do it again.0 -
