And Orange still don't sell as many iPhones in a week as O2 do, as I understand it.

widely reported if you search google.........0 -
Ah, sorry, thought you meant tariff prices. Yes the handset price dropped but that was a) when O2 had an exclusive and b) volumes started to slow down as everyone who *really really* wanted one got one, and it was time to widen the net slightly against things like the N97 and various HTCs which you could pick up for free.0

Apple are known to also include a 'do not rock the boat' clause in their contracts.
So, yes Tesco could chop their marginif they wanted, but they'd then get no more stock.
And I agree, I don't know for sure, but no one does. Anyone that really knows is under 'none discloser' agreements.
The op wanted to know what people think, that it...0 -
I've read alot of articles online and most come to the same conclusion.
Very little change in price but maybe clubcard points or similar.
May just go for it.0 -
I spoke to the produce manager at a store in Manchester today. She said that for pay as you go customer there will be no difference but for pay monthly customers contracts will be much more favourable. She also suggested release within 1-2 weeks.
I really wouldn't have thought she would have access to information any more valuable than we do though?0 -
Don't o2 own half of Tesco mobile? Cant really see them letting Tesco dramatically undercut their own tariffs. They may offer different packages, more for the handset and cheaper monthly costs maybe. Though anyone expecting real competition I think will be very disappointed.0

Personally know Apple and the iPhone well - I can't see there being much difference in pricing - Apart from tesco points.
I guess it'll just be a convenient way to 'pick up' an iPhone! If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -
another way to look at it is does tesco offer better prices on phones or price plans compared to 02 and orange?0
-
regardless who will be cheaper, (and an unlimited contract for £30 a month, including browsing, texts, and calls that tesco currently offer gives you some kind of sniff at what they might do), do you really want your phone network at the top to say..
TESCO
Personally, I don't, cos i'm a snob...

Disclaimer: please, read between the brackets, and the interesting thing about the current tariff they offer not my sarcasm0 -
i'll have a look at what tesco got to offer
but surely you can change the tesco network name ;-)0
