Quidco tracking for Voda SIM only.

On Wednesday I received a Voda 12month £25 SIM deal ordered the previous Friday.

As of today it has still not tracked at all on Quidco. I do not want the deal without the cashback and will return it under the 7 day cool off rule.

Is it unusual for Voda cashback not to track?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The vodafone 7 day return is not applicable to the quidco not tracking - you cant send it back for that reason.

On quidco - there is a "tracking enquiries" link which can usually tell you about how long a particular retailer takes to track - after that period of days, quidco can launch an enquiry themselves.
  • You don't have to give a reason for sending it back. 7 days is 7 days, full stop.
  • Sorry I did not explain myself clearly, I'll send it back under the 7 day rule ( as Voda have told me I can ) because I am able to no questions asked, NOT because quidco hasn't tracked. I don't want to risk not getting the cashback.

I've gone down the quidco enquiries route but they cannot raise it until sometime in Feb by which time it will be far too late to return it.

Oooer I just looked vodafone offering on quidco - and discovered a new day

Code: freecinema The offer is valid until the 31st November, 09.

Back to the business of vodafone and quidco - I think you just have to be patient. I do not like the new look quidco, if you switch back to the old version, the vodafone tracking times are anything between 0 to 20 days (according to Quidco statistics).

I'm used to it tracking within the day but I'll wait for two weeks or so, before submitting an enquiry.
  • Well i bought a phone with VF via quidco on the 4th of November. 24 month contract with a top price plan - should get £90 cashback.

As of today (27th) it still has not tracked into my account.

Spoke with quidco and they told me they can do nothing unitl 90!! Days have passed.

    So good luck everyone!

i'm in the same boat with quidco...i might cancel the contract in that case. Now i have a couple of questions:-

    1. When i get my vodafone sim and i use it, can i still send it back within 7 days if i'm not happy? I mean vodafone won't say that since i've started using it, its classed as an acceptance of contract?

    2. What is a free number for vodafone customer services, so that i can ring them to ask about this sim deal?

    3. How can i be 100% sure that i have done everything correctly with quidco tracking? I used opera browser and you can view/edit the cookies...is there any info in the cookies that can help me prove to quidco that i used their link?

You can never be sure with Quidco, It took 2 YEARS for my last Voda contract to pay out.
Quidco just said 'sent to merchant' . Voda won't help as the deal is between Voda and Quidco and they won't do anything to help you. . .
  • thanks jon...i've just received the simcard, but i don't know what to do now. This 7 day return...does it mean that i can use the sim and still return it if i'm not happy or does it mean that if i start using it, then i'm accepting the contract?
