What's your favourite perfume?

I have loads of perfumes but I always go back to the same ones...
La Prairie - Midnight Rain. I always get comments when I wear this one and it has sort of become my signature scent. I also have 'Silver Rain' but prefer Midnight Rain. It is a little pricey at £70 for 50ml but it really lasts so you don;t need to use much.
Dyptique - Philosykos. This in my more 'daytime' scent and it reminds me of the mediterranean so lifts my mood. It's another one that draws comments.
I'm getting Marc Jacobs 'Lola' for Christmas from OH. I've been squirting it on everytime I see it and my friend says it's 'very me' (whatever that means...but she insists it's a good thing!) so I may have a new favourite in the making.
I also love Tom Ford's Black Orchid...my friend wears it and it's just divine.0 -
I like Gucci II and Dior Addict Shine just now. Both quite sweet but not overpowering.0

Quick question please.....does perfume go off?
A lot of my stuff was boxed up and put in the loft whilst work was going on in the house. It's been up there forever.Just got some boxes down today and they all smell awful.
Can't just be my nose surely?
What makes perfume go off faster is being affected by heat and the light. I keep mine in the fridge (with the rest of my makeup- thank goodness I live alone as 50% of my fridge is devoted to this!!) My perfumes and makeup seems to last for a good few years.0 -

Ooh, perfume thread!
I'm a young late 30s and I can't stand most of the 'modern' perfumes.
My all-time favourite is Magie Noire by Lancome.
Light Blue by D&G is gorgeous and I think smells really expensive for a perfume you can get so cheaply.
I've got about 8 different perfumes at the mo which seems a bit excessive to me but then I see other people's lists of 100s!
Getting 'A Scent' by Issey Miyake for Christmas. Light and citrussy/green."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

Agree with jenniewb. Light seems to be the worst culprit so it's always recommended to keep glass bottles of perfume in their boxes, preferably in a drawer or cupboard."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

Ooh, perfume! mmmm!
The absolutely most gorgeous perfume I've ever had, is Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb. Costsabomb too....£50 for 50ml but it's for 'best'
Daytime I'll use any from:
DKNY red or green apple
Lacoste (original)
Marc Jacobs
Paul Smith - Floral

Original Agent Provocateur is nice."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
