And Lacoste pour Femme - good for daytime, unusual and pretty.
Ooh don't get me started on perfumes, I'm obsessed!"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

I only wear First by Van Cleef and Arpels which is getting hard to find. Thanks to a previous thread I am now stocked up for a bit but I don't want to buy loads in case it goes off.
I have been trying a few testers lately but I've yet to find a replacement I really like. Most of the cheap ones seem to smell a bit "off" on me and even Chanel No 5 which smells great on my mother smells odd on me .0 -
I wear Angel (only for special occasions though - I cant afford to replace it when it runs out so it is used very sparingly!!) I get a lot of envious remarks from people I know who love it but it smells like cat pee on them - they all say it smells gorgeous on me!!! I think its one of those perfumes that dont suit everyone, like Chanel No 5.
I like a light perfume for day - I have four for day, plus one for night occasions that dont warrant me wearing Angel!
Day - I wear Ted Baker W - I wore this for years until they changed it and I didnt like the new one, but I found a huge bottle of it in the sale section of Boots in Bournemouth in the summer and was thrilled to bits! CKOne - the first perfume I ever wore; Lacoste Touch of Pink and also one from BeneFit's Crescent Row collection called 'Laugh with me LeeLee' which is absolutely gorgeous!
I have CKin2u for evening - which I hated at first but now I adore it,
good luck with the perfume hunting! xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
I should have gone to bed about an hour ago but I started reading this thread! It's been great to read about all the different perfumes. At the moment I like Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely but I am looking to try something new. I am an 80's girl too and had forgotten about Dune, Georgio Beverly Hills, O de Lancome and Ralph Lauren's Lauren - all of which I loved! I used to like Azuree by Estee Lauder but they stopped doing it ages ago. It smells like Aramis - My first boyfriend wore this and I still love the smell of it, and always go and have a sniff of it when I am near the testers in shops:o. The other night I was at my friend's house and her 20 year old son came down wearing it and I almost went weak at the knees.
OF the ones I have tried out in store lately I like Flowerbomb and Pure White linen. I really don't like Chanel No5, youth dew or Anais Anais on me - they all seem to smell really sickly but I like them on other people.
I have yet to try the Jo Malone ones - can you only get them in Jo Malone shops? I don't know where there is one near to me (Liverpool Area).Jane

I don't know why EL doesn't promote this, but it's always been available on the site for £25, which is very good value for 60ml. Treat yourself!

Seen the Jo Malones in Manchester. Do they not stock them in John Lewis?0 -
Check out these great review sites if you like reading about perfumes:
http://www.basenotes.net/
Enter the perfume name in top right hand search box to see details and reviews.
And this is a more visual site:
http://www.fragrantica.com/
Again, search top right.
And this site does really cheap perfumes and v fast delivery. I've bought from them a couple of times before:

I just bought Lolilta Lempika 'L' its a very heavy fragrance: initially very light and citrussy but dries down to vanilla incense. One spray lasts absolutely ages!
I also love Moschino I Love Love (very similar to Light Blue) and any of the DKNY Delicious ones.
My fave for daytime is Tommy Girl Summer (it was £5 in the boots sale).Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
