I might have a similar taste to you - I really like Ghost Deep Night and used to like Hugo Boss Deep Red too, though I sometimes find it a bit synthetic now.

Chanel No 5 turns horrible on my skin - I have to scrub if off straight away or smell like an incontinent cat all day . That said I absolutely love Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and get a lot of compliments wearing it.

    Other perfumes I like:
Hypnotic Poison (Dior) - quite sweet and to me is a great night time/evening perfume. It can get tarred with the poison brush though. I guess you love it or hate it and so do others on you.

Armani Code - a happy perfume, quite orangey but in a good way.

Miss Dior Cherie - I used to like this but now it smells like bubblegum

Samsara - I love this to pieces in winter as its warm and spicy but its so strong one little squirt lasts all day and you cant stand too close to other people. Its a guilty pleasure I only wear around the house for the most part.

Issey Mikake - okish but doesnt set my world on fire. Mostly worn for work/meetings

Mitsouko/Shalimar - bought because they are classics - I keep trying but they havent made me love them yet.

I use Clinique Aromatics Elixir and often get stopped and asked what I'm wearing!
  • If you like a clean, soapy sort of smell this is exactly what Cabotine reminds me of. Lovely for day-time

Yes, me too! No-one ever recognises it on me so I think it might smell different on each wearer

Absolutely! And it is such a beautiful scent. I got 2 100ml bottles in the Boots clearance shop in May for £27.50 each! They only had the two or I would have bought more! Already on the 2nd bottle though, as like you, I wear it every day........ Hurry up Christmas -so my stock can get replenished!

Can see others on here have mentioned it already- (good taste!) I love the Philosophy fragrances too- Pure Grace and Amazing Grace are great, I also like 'falling in love' which is along the same lines as Amazing Grace.

I really don't like any of the designer stuff on the high street- I tried to for years, forced myself to wear it to "fit in" with everyone else when I was at school but the bottle would never get used up and whenever I wasn't at school the perfume would be long forgotten! I kind of liked CKOne but it was just worn by everyone and now I feel dated if I wear it! (reminds me of being 14!)

A few other nice scents are by Marc Jacob- they look like room sprays but are actually perfumes. The scents are very pure and simple: Cucumber, Rain, Lemon, Basil...the list goes on! Cost £45 a bottle through- but it is a very big bottle!

I also love the Aveda scented products- never tried their perfumes but love the product scents. The Brilliant heat protective hair spray scent is so nice that I keep it in my bag to spray my hair like a hair perfume!

You guys are too good - now I have too many to chose from.
Think I should buy a few so that I have some choice ;)

My mum and friend wear Clinique aromatics and it smells nice on my mum, weird on my friend and awful on me. Bizarre....

My favourite perfume is Ultraviolet its in a round bottle, its really gorgoeus quite sexy smelling, my DD wore some for school (without me knowing) and all her mates loved it aswell, I think its to grown up for her though!

I also have Givenchy very irrisitable, which is nice and Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue which is also nice, they dont compare to Ultraviolet though, but its nice to swap perfumes so you dont get used to it.

I have just bought some Ultraviolet - 30ml EDP for 10 quid at our local cheap chemist!!!
I bought it simply on your recommendation as they didn't have a tester so i couldnt smell it and its beautiful!
    Thanks its very lovely :T
