    I've been Money Tipped!
Chanel no 5 doesn't suit me, and didn't suit my sister...until she became a mother. It was as f she'd grown in to it.

The thing with recommendations for scents is they will smell different on you!

To mak a short list I don't think you can do better than get cards with a squirt of the ons you think you'll like, come home, put them each ina dirrent drawer/room/place and smeel them over a couple of days ..narrowing it down, then see which of those you like on your own skin.

To find one of those ''special'' perfumes for you just can't be rushed!

I need to go out and try some new sniffs too, but find it all too daunting like you. My current trusty favourites are Ralph Lauren Glamourous, and Hugo XX, which I think are great for everyday wear.

jean paul gaultier classique is my all time fave, but its so expensive, I buy wee bottles from ebay.
Mine too, but I buy it in the duty-free. Have never yet found an auction on ebay that ended up cheaper than the duty-free price.
Went in to Boots at one point with the bf, and this was the one that he said I HAD to have!

Yes, it is. The EdT has a frosted corset on the bottle, the EdP has a lace corset on the bottle.

Thats a really good idea. This week I got estee lauder sensuous sprayed on a card, thought it was nice at the time and my DH smelled it and said it smelled a bit medicinal!! I liked it up until then.

I was hoping to find an estee lauder perfume I liked as I buy their skin care and would be good to bag the free gift offers when i can - but i dont like any of them now :(

  • I suspect that this won't be your thing, because I like fresh clean smells, but I love Clean perfume and Philosophy Amazing Grace/Pure Grace.
