What's your favourite perfume?

I love going and trying the testers in Boots to see if I can "teach myself" to like a new scent, but for me it's always Dune by Christian Dior, I've been into it for years now..0

CK one, i love it !! the only perfume that doesnt give me headaches. :j
It brings back memories of an old flame when I wear this for the first few times.
Ain't if funny how smells can do that? You can stand there and agonize........

My tried and tested favourites which I've been wearing for decades are Aromatics (day-time) Hermes Caleche (evenings) and Lanvin Arpege (VERY special occasions) but I have been told by younger people that they're "older lady" scents but I like to think of them as beautiful classics. One of the nicer things about wearing the last two is that no-one ever recognises them and that pleases me because I don't want to smell just like everyone else.

I have a few Calyx by prescriptives but its quite expensive so very sparingly
I love shalimar because it reminds me of my mum, she always wears it.
But my everyday faves are contradiction by calvin klein and one i have been wearing permanently for a year now is matthew williamson which is really cheap in tj's so i can use loadsbut i always get asked about the cheapy one...lol

Have you tried Chanel no 19, or Allure? No 5 doesn't suit me either (it smells clinical on me, I don't know why), but I have worn those.
Other favourites are DKNY Be Delicious, Giorgio Beverly Hills, and Elizabeth Arden 5th Aveue.
I also like some B never to be busy to be beautiful scents, such as Cocktail, Love, and Keep it Fluffy. I haven't tried any of their other ones, so can't comment.0 -

Smell evokes the most powerful memories for me, sometimes right back to when I was a small child! It is amazing.
OP - my faves are Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier Classique. Hope you find your perfect scent xoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Yes, both Hermes and Lanvin should be stocked by most dept. stores. They are expensive but no more than say, Dior or Guerlain. Anyway, who cares? They're presents; you're not buying them yourself. Because you're worth it.
The Caleche one is quite fresh and floral but with a very sexy, adult undertone. Delicious. If you fancy something a bit more earthy try Hermes Amazone. Arpege is a very complex scent with layer upon layer of different notes. Once it's dried down it's pretty earthy as well. I think it's sex on legs and has received so many compliments, especially from men.0
