I'd just ignore her now. She cant open another dispute. Just block her and ignore her. If she goes to the police (which i very much doubt) they wont do anything.
  • I think she is just filling you up with a heap of s**t to try and scare you and she is probably wanting to keep the purse and money!

just ignore her and block her! she cant open another dispute and its sounds like she has no case to go on by going to the police. if she was genuine then she would have given you the tracking number before anything else she has said.

  • Oh and no matter how much she is persuading you dont refund her! People like that really annoy me on ebay makes me soo angry

Hi there are only 2 disputes you can open with paypal an item not received and an item significantly not as described dispute.
You choose one or the other when you open a dispute you cannot choose to open both and you cannot open the other one if paypal finds against you in a dispute decision.
You can appeal against paypals decision on the original dispute you opened but in your case where the buyer says they have sent the item back to you the buyer will need a tracking number or other traceable means of postage to give to paypal to win the appeal.
Do not refund anybody until the goods are back in your hands ever for any reason and that is for any dispute not just this one.
I hope this answers your original question for you.

Thanks everyone! It was the police thing that worried me! As she has my adress I didnt want the police turning up wanting to search my house to find the purse that has supposedly been signed for!!
Yeah I didnt think she would be able to open another dispute as paypal seen it in my favour first time as she refused to send it back! And if the purse does turn up then I have no problem refunding the money as this is causing so much hassel!
  • just explain the claim has been through ebay and has been closed, and it is an open and shut case. if she had sent the purse back or sent pictures when requested something could have been done about it. block the buyer and forget about it........
