  • Please remember to always put a return address on items in future! Even if it's just surname, house no and postcode, this way it should find it's way back to you if it's not delivered.

If this is the case, did they refuse delivery because it was in the name of a previous occupant ?
If so, the Signed For tracking details should show as delivery refused ?
I would check with RM to find out what the actual status of the parcel is.

  • oops, hit the button before I meant to ....
Check the status with RM, because the new occupants might have signed for it and kept it, forwarded it to her, or she may even still live there ?

Thank you Victoriajayne. But no. The status just says Returned to sender. Do you think it will be sat at a sorting office somewhere. With it being recorded surely they will have a system to hold on to it.

Ah yes Belfast- the equivalent of the elephant's graveyard for parcels.

I recall quite a while ago seeing a programme about the lost parcels office and a guy was walking round these vast rooms with shelves and sacks and gurneys full of parcels all destined to remain there unless by some hope someone managed to link a 'lost' claim description with the contenst of a parcel.

OP, is there any invoice or anything in the parcel to link it to you when it does get opened at belfast? Otherwise this might be an expensive lesson to remember to always put a clear return address on all packets in future as without any proof of delivery to anywhere you will lose a paypal claim.
