Hey folks sorry have been a bit quiet but has been reading the diaries and continue to be so inspired. this month's repayments total £1030. £150 to halifax cc, £150 to hsbc cc, £100 to catalogue, £50 to student loan, £210 to hsbc loan and £300 mortgage overpayments and £70 clearing overdraft. looking at it seems so big but the relief that I am on the path to eliminate my debt mountain makes it all worth. was speaking to my sister who has a cahoot variable loan since 2005 and can't see whether her payments are going. her tale just highlighted that we need to take our heads out of the sand and tackle the problems head on however painful that might be. have really taken a hard look at my spending and am still far from not indulging in a splurge now and then but I do not prioritise them over my financial commitments and feel somewhat better for my progress. this site and the challenges have really helped and just wanted to say thanks :beer::beer::beer::beer:

Measly €20 off the Tesco's cc today, but I promised myself I'd make a daily payment against it, so there it is. Hoping to make a fairly substantial payment on Thursday when dh's o/t cheque clears.

wow good number crunching ive had to fork 130 out for a new car steering and ignition thanks to some low life attempting to steal my car but instead just damaging the whole steering
