  • Have loved joining this challenge and reading everyone's entries but I can understand that its a lot of work going into running and managing challenges are we still ok to add till the end of the year. Have been totting up and have hit my pay off £10k challenge unfortunately did not manage my save £3k for the year. that may have been due to me heading off on holiday in a few weeks time, could not help myself. am really pleased if all goes to plan will have paid off my student loan and one of my credit cards all ready for 2011 where I want to finish off one last card and really consolidate my savings. I have really loved reading all your entries sorry I have been a bit slack with mine. keep on keeping on xx

    Hey all,

This thread has kind of died a death - where are you all with your declared totals?!! I'm declaring at £3767, which is not great but then we have jst had to buy a new car, and we did have a posh holiday for our 40th birthdays. So not too bad overall. Just in case anyone has not seen, there is a similar thread now for next year: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2923958

    See you in 2011!

My debt free journey started to peeter out this year and I'm nowhere near my £12000 target but on a positive note I managed to pay £4164.

Thanks everyone for your support and my aim this year is to be debt free by July 2011:j
