Hypno normally sets this challenge up on 1st december each year but due to other circumstances hasn't kept up.
I'm sure she won't mind if somebody else sets a new one up though.

Indeed - life has got in the way of posting and the like I am afraid.....

I am keeping track of my progress in my siggy, though, and am pleased with the amount I have paid off this year - especially as when I started the challenge there were two incomes coming in, and very soon after that, I was down to just the one.

I would be more than happy for someone to run a challenge for next year, and I will definitely be a member of it, but I can't commit to setting it up this year I am afraid.

    xx

    Glad you getting better taxi.

wow 60k in a year is huge amount?
    How did you do it?

paid another 107 yesterday to barclaycard and 40 Lloyds loan- so off to ammend sig.

paid inland revenue cheque into bank account now working out what payments to make thinking making 2-3months worth of payments to everyone to give me some breathing space.

Right update forgot to update sign after made these payments so payments gone from

    13,615.00 to 13,762.00:j

Paid in tax rebate cheque and paid as follows.

next directory 37.58 balance now 0:T1debt cleared!

150pounds bank od 12months worth of repayments as gradually reducing od limit.

    61pounds very cat

160.00 I paid towards hubbys credit card he needs to pay some on top to get it up to date.

80pounds od 2 which got me back within limit.:)

386.07 hubbys loan aa goes out on 15th

    Total so far 14,636.65!

Right bearing in mind I guess this challange technically finishes end of november feel confident we will hit 15grand maybe even 16 but eb about 4grand short of 20k target.

Im proud as think we come along way but sad due to intrest hubby kaing min payments some respending on cards and bankcharges has set us back but still determined and positive to get debt free as ever.

Definatly interested in doing next years challange too may set myself 20k again!

Payments left to make for me this month is

    40pound loan
    least 35pounds barclaycard
hubby 220 on top of 160 I paid on his santander as min payment 386 this month!
    50pounds tesco creditcard.

plus any bits hubby forgotton to update

I need to catch up with hubbys totals too as havent got his uptodate as wanted to check first

hubby still has 4half grand on credit card 1
also 2grand on credit card 2.

i have 1500on barclaycard-should be cleared next year
1000 very cat-again needs to be cleared next year.

overdrafts not stressing about at moment, I hade about 2000 od and hubby 2700.
we havent missed a loan payment but obviously paying the interest.
Had my loan 2years out of 6 so far and current balance is 950 was 1600!Im aiming to pay off sooner.

So I still got 5half including all my debts remaining thats od, loan, creditcard and cat determined to clear by next xmas.
Hubby be happy if he can clear the 6half grand of cc debt next year but would be fab if he could clear od too and just have loan.

hubbys loan need to check as it was 6year loan for 27grand and been running 2years maybe slightly more.

Hubby sadly dident get job as planned and no chance of rise where he is so we making further cutbacks in new year in order to increase debt repayments.

I plan to try get part time job next year once babys born.
Also will keep doing extra bots to make money.
hubby should have tax rebate which partly needs to go on partexchanging car as 3rd baby on way but some off cards too.

Well done everyone think 2010 been tough year but we all made so many payments.

hypno you sill soon be debt free hun is great as been such a long journey for you as been following your progress since joined site same as taxi.
