Changed isp

i changed over to 02 broadband today from bt.

my contract with bt ran out today and so i cancelled and ordered o2 today.

thing is while all this is going through, who is my isp and will i get charged by anyone
while this is changing over, or is it instant?

It's not instant and you will get a notice to let you know when your change over will be.

you normally have to give notice to cancell and so bt will charge you until they switch you off
you have made a good choice going to O2.
they will get in touch with you( usually by text) at all times during your initial transfer
they will tell you when the router will arrive and also the date they finally switch you to thier service

any ideas how will they charge me will it be at some extortionate rate as i have gone else where?

you will need to check the t&c of bt
to see how much notice is required,but they should not over charge you because you have cancelled their service
