Anyone else had their first bill yet from this?
I set this is up for GF's dad (knew it wouldn't be simple) and now the first bill has come he is being charged the "free" £6.99 broadband and essentials package.
Thought I'd post the question on here before getting him to call, as he has a short fuse anyway, but has anyone else had the same problem? It could be as simple as the free 12 months being the last 12 months of 18!??!

my advice is join up to the forum and create a thread explaining then one online staff will pick it up they will ask his details for data protection act like on phone then look into it.

i hate the foreign call centre n think it crud but cant rate the forums high enough and the forum staff are uk based

    hope this helps

As per previous post I am having a bit of a problem with this.

GF tried calling first and they have denied offering free broadband for 12months (India call centre put her through to cancellations who confirmed the offer doesn't exist!)

So I have called and have first been told I am getting free broadband and the £6.99 they are charging is the phone package only, then that I am getting broadband free for 4 months which will be credited to my account next month.

Finally got through to cancellations, without asking to be(!), and they have agreed to credit 12 x £6.99 to my next bill, and have asked me to forward the email confirmation so they can deal with further queries!!

Doesn't sound like a great start!!

    Anyone else had problems?

Does this work with talktalk pro?
  • I work at the talk talk sales department, we only have one offer in house which allows 6.99 off your first six months so go ahead and ask for that(if you get through to the wimbledon branch) as other branches may have different offers. Nothing else we can physically do to save you money.

The 'will not work on this channel thing' is because we use a similar but slightly different website which will allow certain offers and not allow others, hence why some promo codes will not work for the public, have not tried the 300AEFREE one but will definately give it a go.
