I didnt put a return adresse unfortunaly i assumed it would just go to the reciver. its deffinetly not a parcel that could be stolen very easily without being seen its around 80cm wide 10cm width and 50cm high.

i just cannot imagine how it could get lost tho i mean its just not possible for somebody to miss a parcel so big, i expected it to have been deliverd on monday, tuesday maby evern wednesday but now im very worried.

i dont know the reciver in person neither can i trust them 100% if the track and trace came up as deliverd then i would think maby the buyer is pulling my leg but the post office website just says its being prossed for delivery.

has anybody ever sent anything 1st class thats took as long as this to arrive?

I'm surprised that they didn't ask you if the value was over £39, as they do that every single time I post a parcel at the PO.

The lady did ask me this! and i told her around £200 she didnt say anything else tho

only if badly addressed or due to strikes but should be clear now. have you contacted PO? not sure what they can do. Always put an RTS address on everthing.

how was it wrapped, could the address get damaged?
if the address got damaged how would you expect RM to deliver or return it without any return address?
did you include an invoice inside?
for less than £5 more you item would have been there Monday via special delivery

it was wrapped very well they printed the lables off in the post office and stuck them on for me i assumed they would have done that correctly.

if i had know for extra £5 i would have paid it but i had no idea

unlike mail packages are not under RM's USO so can be delayed woith mail taking prefference

Yes, it depends which part of the country you sending from/to. AFAIK there is still a bit of a backlog of mail in and out of London.

item sent from Wembley to Edinburgh
paid for 5.30pm last night and here for midday today (1st class)
however nobody ever posts this sort of stuff ;)
  • It may be worth checking at the local delivery office in case it is awaiting collection. Posties don't always leave a 'while you were out' card.

Im a postman and if it was sent friday it should be there saturday or monday at the very latest. It may have been lost or miss delivered if the address was incorrect.

Special delivery would have been the way to go

This is a wind up isn't it?...posted one day...delivered the next...the following day at the latest.....I think you've been indoctrinated....or brainwashed at the PO team meetings...

If thats the case...why don't they offer refunds if your first class post doesn't get there the next day (or the one after at the latest)
    I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
