Barceloneta - think thats how you spell it!! Anyway turns out to be quite a nice surprise because i thought the parents said it was outside Barcelona, but from what i can find on the net it seems theres a lot going on there.

    Have you ever been?

I have indeed. You are staying in a great part of Barcelona and very close to El Born (10 min walking) which is my favourite part of Barcelona and is where most of our wedding focussed around. You have the beach at your doorstep which will be nice for walks.

El Born has lots of bars, restaurants and cool shops and when I go to Barcelona (try to at least once a year) we have to go to El Born first so I can get my fix of it. I just love going from bar to bar down the alley ways. It is very safe too.

You will love it - am not excited for you :D

I think you will defo like it. With Barcelona I think the best thing to do is wander around and find places. The tourist bus is supposed to be good as well :)

Yay Flower that is great news. I went to Barcelona once with school and once with college and it was great. Would love to go again as could have a look round on my own then without a teacher haha.
  • Great news Flower!! Bet you're so excited! I'm not jealous at all :( I can second that about the tourist bus - they're hop-on-hop-off so a really convenient way to get around to all the sights (some are a bit of a way out) - plus you get the commentary.

Wendz - the less said about my lists this week the better ;)

Morning! Gosh, I actually feel quite awake and raring to go today for the first time this year I think! I was asleep by 10.15 last night, going to try and do that more often, must be good for you.

Just been checking my banking, have about £11 per day to last me til payday on the 26th, which is better than I was expecting to be honest. I have a full tank of petrol too.

Still have £300 left on the OD, but have over £20 in £2 coins, am waiting for a £10 cheque for my old broken mobile and should get £20ish for my CDs on Music Magpie, so should really only need to pay out £250 from my wages to clear it. The I can start the exciting part of saving for a moving out fund - we saw some cute little houses To Let at the weekend but there was only a phone number, will try and have a look for something online.

    List for today:
    - Get back on top of work
    - 2 Dooyoos
    - Copy 2 to Ciao (1 with pics)
    - [STRIKE]Confirm transaction on Music Magpie[/STRIKE]
    - Food Focus
    - Look into Piggybanking
    - [STRIKE]See if I can find any info on houses to let[/STRIKE] - Not a sausage
    - Check on gran
    - Post letters
    - Litter tray
    - Tomorrow's packed lunch
    - Replace any broken CD cases for MM
    - Finish sewing folder
    - Finish mood board
    - Be in bed with my book by 9.30 and asleep by 10.30 - it's the way forward!!

You have a bit more money than me anyway!

Saving to move out is definiely the fun part! We might go and look at a couple of flats this weekend to possibly buy which is exciting. I really should be getting on with revision for my work exam but that is much more fun.
  • Definitely, I'm excited already! Have to stop myself doing a Dinah and stocking up on crockery etc - I won't allow it til the OD is paid off!!

Well I didn't get as much done as I wanted, partly because it took over an hour to get home so by the time I'd got in and had tea it was already late.

Did manage to get another early night though so am feeling good, might actually get on top of work today AND get a couple of reviews done??

    So Tuesday:
    - Catch up with work emails
    - Food focus
    - 1 Dooyoo
    - Catch up with Dooyoo rates
    - Copy 2 to Ciao (1 with pics)
    - Catch up with Ciao rates
    - Look at Piggybanking
    - Buy shampoo
    - Buy packed lunch bits
    - Look at sewing folder to see what I'm missing
    - Change bedding
    - Be asleep by 10.30

Not a lot of after work stuff on there as it's date night, must not eat too much in Pizza Hut even though we have a 50% voucher, must not eat too much, must not....

OK so yesterday wasn't as progressive as I thought it was going to be. Why does work always have to get in the way of the rest of my life?

Not feeling too clever today, OH breathed all his germs over me last night and now I'm sneezing and sniffling, hoping for a deluge of snow to cancel sewing class as I just can't be bothered, but on the other hand I need help with my gathers. Going for an easy list today, see if I can get it done!

    - Copy 1 review with pics to Ciao
    - Catch up on Ciao rates
    - Catch up on Dooyoo rates
    - Sewing folder - check what I need
    - Food Focus
    - Check if piggy acounts are showing yet
    - Check whether have a place on GNR, see about applying to main ballot
    - Sewing class
    - Relaxing face mask when I get in
    - Bed with book by 9.30!
