  • Suppose I should do some work now.. I think I would really like this job I've applied for, it sounds really interesting (and it works out as the same salary but working 7 hours a week less which would be very nice)!

Luc, you really are 'flying' around aren't you? Good grief! I am put to shame with my lazy ways! Will ahve to pull my finger out and get the house tidy for Xmas - the decorations will come down next week, so no time like the present! Except I'm at work of course, so no time like the weekend!

  • Morning all! Just looked at my CC statement, i have been charged £12 for a late payment, completely forgot about the payment, as its the first month i haven't paid off a fair chunk. As well as the charge they have dropped my credit limit. This will also go on my credit file? Well i was wondering if it is worth calling them up and saying I was on holiday and completely missed it but have now set up a DD so it won't happen again (first time) and i can make the payment now, but can they put my limit back and remove anything that has gone on my file oh and the chrage? Worked for HSBC but that was a current account (a DD went out and my wages were a day late so got charged as it was returned)

    Worth a try?
