    Now in huge panic!
Letter from bank re business loan

' since you are currently unable to offer any payments towards your outstanding liability I am regrettably left with little option but to pass my file to the bank's solicitors for further recovery action.'

    Now what do I do?

Bookie, I don't know what the bank's solicitors CAN do except take litigous action. Have you spoken to / seen anyone from CAB? Can they give you some advice?

the part you quoted sounds like a standard letter and realistically, they can't recover what you ain't got! Please try not to worry (too much)

does that mean they can put a charging order on the house or that they'll move to repossession?

Bookie have you sent them a SOA and offered them a pound token payment. They will see that you have no funds to pay them. I thought you had had a meeting with the bank manager about your loan?

  • I could be wrong on this but I'm sure I heard elsewhere that they have to accept £1 token payments from people on JSA. Could someone check this for me?
