I have a 13ft trampoline in the garden. Its been pretty windy here, but not the worst its ever been.
We just heard a big crash and went outside to find that the wind has lifted the trampoline over a 5foot fence and crashed it into the neighbours porch roof.
Its smashed tiles and shattered the rhone pipe, can't really access the full damage until daylight tomorrow.
Am so  and I feel terrible for the neighbours, they are being good about it so far.
I'll phone the insurance company tomorrow but I can't see that this will be covered?? I've only had the policy for 2 days!!
Anyone else had trampoline related damage?

I would think your neigbour would have to claim on their insurance as storm damage??
If so then you could offer to pay some of the excess as a good will gesture maybe
Can't see that they would want to claim as it would increase their premiums and they've not been at fault??
Its my property thats caused the damage so I'm assuming full responsibity
I've not had any dealings with home insurance before so I could be wrong!0 -
If they kicked off their shoes in said porch before entering the house you might find it puts a bit of a spring in their step.0
