I have this on my ticket which is now closed.
Further to our correspondence dated 27/11/2009, I am pleased to advise you that we have completed our investigations and I have now unblocked the payments on your account. Your Virgin Train transactions will proceed as normal.
Your received payments will be made in the next payment run, this being 20th December.
Again, I would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter and to reassure you that we take these steps to safeguard the interests of all of our members and merchants.
However, I do apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
Yours sincerely, Mark.

I have the same reply, minus the bit about the Virgin transactions. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

If I wrote about my previous acct I'd be here all night and get a hernia!
However my current situation is rather amusing. Before moving I signed online to the £150 cashback deal. Guys came on my move date and said they could not do it as to high. 15 mins later another crew trained in heights came. They said they could not do it as slate roof. I said thats daft go the other way, so a supervisor in the area came half hr later and said only option is sky as their guys could not do it due to health and safety etc.
Supervisor said he would cancel service, no need to contact and they would refund the £30 deposit I made as they could not provide the service, due to slate roof etc
Last month I got a bill. Idiots insist I am recieving tv and have a phone line. Yes I do but it is BT. There are no virgin sockets so I can not plug a phone into it.
Explained that surely they can see the 'box' has not recieved signals for tv(no blue wire, no virgin box in building!) and that no calls had been recieved or made on this so called 'phone line'
Man simply can not understand this, simply saying you have 2 bills, you must pay!
Explain nooooooo you are wrong and I also want £30 deposit back. No I am afraid we can not as that amount was taken off first bill and reduced it so you just owe xx.xx
I have had this conversation 9 times now and each time they say a supervisor will call back. On my VIRGIN number. Refuse to take BT one lol
They are muppets, never using them again. Must sort mess out but how can I when they do not listen and pay attention as their computer says different and they want to call me on a number I do not have.
WALLIES!
Sorry if im missing something but why would Virgin Media need to get on your roof.Your fooling no one bar yourself.0 -
I neet to book a genuine train journey, a couple days ago I could have got 5quid cashback on a 65 Pound ticket, now quidco doesn't offer anything anymore...I wonder why:rolleyes:£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0

I'm a bit miffed that mine didn't even track, i've never had a problem with things tracking before. I didn't really expect to get the cashback, but feel a bit uneasy that it didn't even track and it's as though i did nothing0

Oh right. Ours is put in through underground cables so no unsightly wires/cables etc to trip over or getting tangled up in and no "dish" on the outside wall either. They did dig up the garden like a little trench thing for the cable but they filled that all back in so no wires/cables showing anywhere.Your fooling no one bar yourself.0 -
I have been informed by quidco that this deal WILL be honoured despite currently showing as £0.00.
Although I cannot comment on whether this will apply to everyone.

Hmm I still doubt they will payout, I have heard nothing regarding my purchase but my quidco now tracks at £0.00 perhaps they are buying themselves some time on this one.
Can't help myself, for all you Virgin Train fans out there this is certainly a must have :rotfl:

alittlebitofmagic wrote: »crazyposhgal are is your transaction showing as £0.00 or £5.00?
BeenieCat, can you not raise an enquiry? Mind you, I had two not even show up on the list to raise recently, just kept getting replies saying I must not have been signed in, even though I explained that I always close all windows, clear cookies, sign in and click trough-deaf ears!
I have 1 tracking at £5.00 and 1 at 0.00 i have asked if the other shall be changed to £5.00 also."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure.
