Can anyone tell me if the new terms and conditions of the virgin trains deal refers to the price of the ticket or the total in the basket - quidco seems to be saying both!

    its per basket

  • So if you buy two tickets that are five pounds each and pay for them in one transaction then you'll get the cashback?
  • No it's not, I for one will be contacting watchdog, I think it's disgusting that nobody has received any emails or apologies let alone an explanation for whoever's incompetence this is down to. Shame on Virgin Trains for treating customers like this, and it should be brought to light.

Due to abuse the Virgin trains offer has now gone completely, even for tickets over £7.

Maybe if all the idiots on here hadn't looked to make a quick buck it would have lasted more than about 3 days.

Erm and what exactly do you call 'abuse'? Taking up a completely legitimate offer with no stipulation of a minimum spend??

If thats abuse then you best tell the mods because at least 50% of glitches, loopholes, and flaws listed on the grabbit board will also be!!!

£4 cashback is still on offer at cashbackkings. On the offer page they state:
Example Child Ticket from ALLENS WEST to EAGLESCLIFFE 60p

For those people who had a ticket raised about this, have you had your November payment deferred to end of Dec?

Don't know - but the invitation on the website to use the offer to buy a 60p ticket says a lot about the way this cadshback offer has been interpreted!

Yeah, the ticket they opened is resolved and one of my tickets is still tracking at £5.

I have been informed by quidco that this deal WILL be honoured despite currently showing as £0.00.

Although I cannot comment on whether this will apply to everyone.

How did you find that out? Did they send you a message or did you e-mail them?
