mine for example is http://192.168.1.1 (Netgear)
Depends on your router and settings mind:idea:0 -
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/setup/wirelesstips.aspx <===tips on wireless
7. Reduce wireless interference
If you have cordless phones or other wireless electronics in your home, your computer might not be able to "hear" your router over the noise from the other wireless devices. To quiet the noise, avoid wireless electronics that use the 2.4GHz frequency. Instead, look for cordless phones that use the 5.8GHz or 900MHz frequencies.
My tesco cheapie phones run between the 1.88 and 1.9 Ghz range. Is that not normal then?:idea:0 -

My experiment did not go entirely as planned.
Clearly, at least one can of Coca-Cola was going to need to be consumed. So I began by making a stiff Cuba Libre.
Whilst in the course of considering whether there was a better way of cutting the empty can in half, it occurred to me that the Airport Extreme Base Station has more than two aerials. So, I made another Cuba Libre.
Then I remembered that the Airport Extreme Base Station actually has six or eight internal aerials. The precise number eluded me because, by then, my memory was becoming a little less sharp than usual.
To be on the safe side, I made a couple more Cubas Libre. :beer:
By this stage, my companion had finished cooking; she drank the eighth one herself and pointed out that despite the shortcomings perceived by asininity in the design by Apple of the Airport Extreme Base Station, the ones we've got deliver a five-bar, rock-solid, 5 GHz 802.11n and 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g signal throughout the property anyway.
So, we opened a bottle of wine and had dinner, instead. :EasterBun
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.
