Ah, my mistake i didnt see that

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

No worries - like I said it is an assumption on my part too, but I suspect it is more likely than £400 of fees in a matter of days

            Thanks.
Ive got a lot going on at the moment in my life, and the debt i thought i had delt with via NDR - They say the debt has now been passed on.
Should i use one of those templates then and see where i get?0 -
The problem is my debt is for a mobile phone, so surly the unenforcable debt wont work, as it was taking out in 2008 the contract?0

Nope. CCA does not apply to mobile phone contracts.
The date doesn't really matter here. Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I suspect that Northern Debt Recovery were chasing the arrears on "behalf" of Orange rather than having bought the debt. As such, the penalties for ending/breach of contract may not have yet been applied.
But once actually "sold" on, the full costs would be added.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

So what is my course of action now. I don't think i had 12 months left on the contract, as i got the phone sometime last year.
Should i ask for a full break down of the costs from them??0 -
            Sorry again!!
Ive just read the letter, and in smaller writing it says:
If the usage fee is paid within 28 days, Orange PCS ltd will credit your contract by £385.04 and reconnect your service free of charge, your contract will be reinstated allowing you once again to make calls.
What does this really mean, and my name is also spelt wrong on the letter, its spelt Masden
Thanks
So in effect they are saying that orange will take the £95 from the £480, and credit the account - how stupid is this?0 -
What their saying is, you've defaulted on the contact so all the fee's (for the whole term are now payable). They'll then credit your acc with the excess.0

Yep, but if im finding it hard to pay £95, then how on this earth can i pay £480.
Should i see if they will come to an arrangement over the phone, or should i ask them to "prove" the debt.
I'm very worried now!0
