I've got a niggly little Internet explorer problem too: any webpage I go to that requires flash keeps telling me I haven't got it! I have! I've downloaded it and it shows in my "manage add-ons" as Shockwave Flash Object-Macromedia, Inc-Enabled-ActiveX Control-flash8b.ocx -
So why do I keep seeing the " to view this page/website you need to have Flashplayer installed"
?
Any ideas please?0 -
Mmmm odd just try again http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
Dont install the Yahoo Todger bar

ok to save you from Norah Jones ! I get the same thing on the French open website http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/index.html0

Try the reset web settings as mentioned above, may help, as that my kick flash into working properly.0

Nope that hasn't worked either - it's puzzling me this one
!
Thanks for the suggestions though - I suppose I could just get Firefox again and just keep IE for downloading Windows Updates,
although contrary to most other Firefox fans I've always found IE faster and easier to use (until this Flash problem cropped up
). 0 -
Try going back to a restore point before it was installed, I agree about IE aswell, It maybe FireFox's flash handler thats conflicting with the real flash prog, if you see what I mean.0
