No servo for brakes, no power steering.
The Car Breakers will collect on a breakdown truck which will winch it on board.0 -
no dont have access to a tow..i assuem you mean to the scrap yard
looked at scrappage scheme, and the only ones the car fits into is
mitsubishi and nissan of which i dotn prefer any of the cars
citroen also take in any car and offer £1000 but again not to my liking
strip and scrap is the best option
@creased-leach - i thought it was blown to..ill double check over the weekend btu im sure its gone0 -
My opinion get the head gasket done & maybe the head skimmed cannot see why this sjould not work out, unless the head has been skimmed before or get a scrap engine fitted, get someone who knows what they are doing to check it first though.
This has to be the cheapest option ?Theres only two rules to remember1) Im always right2) See rule 10 -
Be careful, any car that is on the road needs to kept in a road legal state.
oh..even if its covered up?? with the tax only display of course
the wheels are worth selling money alone for..
if i sell as sales/repairs on an auction site for example. i guess i need to give them all documents (V5) as the same as im sellign a car to them>?
only declare SORN if the car is off road0 -

It could possibly be illegal to cover the car whilst it is on the road, number plates and reflectors need to be visible I would think.0 -
Where are you from?
I had my Punto HG go recently, would possibly be interested in the whole vehicle depending on cost and where you are?
Many thanks!

oh ok..wasnt aware..i had an old van which was literally ocvered head to toe with no warning given, this was on the road for 3 months!.
so the best option nto me is looking to sell the car as it is..spares./repairs
no tow available
no access to drive to strip parts
no option to scrap (increased costs)
no option for scrappage scheme
no point in fixing the car.0
