oops never mind. I played through my first birthday bonus today but didn't win anything, neither did OH today.
I spent a rushed day today and forgot about dinner. No-one is home and I nearly couldn't be bothered, but I have bunged some spicy chicken in the oven to cook and I'm going to make a risotto. I WILL get into this planning mode. I also got some chicken pieces out of the freezer to defrost so tomorrow I can make cajun pieces with wedges or something similar. If I had left that until later I wouldnt have gotten anything out.
I have also been struggling to think of anything to get my Dad for xmas. I saw a name shaped photo frame of Grandad, but my kids call him Pops, so I have designed my own letters and put photos behind them this afternoon. Have to cut them out now and arrange and then buy a frame. I hope it turns out ok.
I thought I had had a crap day but the above makes it sound productive so am happy with that.0 -
Nothing on BB again today, think I may have wiped out my luck now
Went to sainsburys today and they had 25% off so got myself a new jumper and some jeans, and got dd2 some bits as well as a pretty xmas dress, - spent a bit but worth it.0 -
£7.50 won on BB this morning, withdrew and then won another £15 so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
Lasagne is in the oven for dinner, should save me going to the shop today. I hope I can keep this up.
My body shop order was delivered. I'm glad I got the two expensive items for free as I wouldnt have paid full price for them!0 -

Thanks Jellie. Nothing since then though
I bought the Morrisons festive feast offer today. Soup is in the freezer, but what a bargain. I might have to get another tomorrow if they still have any.
Going to buy DD's laptop tomorrow, have reserved it through tcb so hopefully I can grab some cashback from it as well.
Got tax and wills to pay this month, MOT next month, going to be expensive - yak.0 -
Sounds like you've got things well and truly under control though YB, so well done you for that. I've now finally got around to setting up a specific savings account for expenses relating to our two cars - it's going to be lovely knowing that the money will be there for stuff like MoT's and insurance. It even gave me an excuse to start a new spreadsheet to work out how much we needed to set aside!
It's another one of those things I've thought about for years and years but never quite motivated myself to do!

Good luck with BB then EH. I think my run is coming to an end soon
There wont be enough in the car fund for the tax of MOT (unless it passes), but I will get six months tax now and then 12 months in the summer to get it away from xmas period.0
