Gosh, lots to catch up on! Glad you got the car back and hope the bill is as you expect. Arrghhh re your tooth, but I'm sure you'll be relieved something positive is being done, and like you say good to get it all done in one appointment and at least you will not be aware of anything. Mind you, I have had root canal treatment and the thought of it was actually worse than the actual deed. Of course we are female and are tough - we had the babies after all! LOL
Hope you getting ideas for the wedding you want, go for it. Have you thought about doing it a bit cheaper by perhaps hiring a hall and decorating it (would be no problem to someone as crafty as you) and then getting caterers in? I've been to a wedding where it was in a hall beautifully decorated and the catering was really excellent - it was a help yourself buffet but really good and the cost I believe was a quarter than what it would have been in a hotel.
Good luck with your tooth.0 -
I really want a hotel wedding for some reason and as I only plan on doing this once, I am going to go for what I want (as well as keeping costs as low as poss) if that makes sense.
About to pay the car money today when I see my brother, and the bill was super low. I don't think they have included labor for themselves so will pay the bill and then ask about the labor and pay that another time if necessary. Am quite happy to pay them more as they did us a huge favour as it would have cost a bomb in the garage with labour costs.
Roast chicken for lunch and then off to see my family.0 -
Definitely go for the wedding you really want, I know exactly where you are coming from there, I really enjoyed every minute of our day and only wished it didn't go past so quickly, and I still remember it quite clearly even though it was a llooonnng time ago!
Good news re car bill, you deserve some good luck. Chicken dinner here too. Trying to be organised with the food this year! Only had one takeaway in January which is good for us and if we only do one a month we will be happy with that. I have £41 left over of "shopping" money in the bank and enough in my purse in cash to spend £5 per day until pay day on 15th. I am so chuffed and am going to try so hard to make the £5 per day do. Sorry going on so long. Hope you don't have to wait too long for hospital appt re tooth.0 -
Oh and yay, I just got a third star for that last post! Been wondering when I would get that! I'm easy pleased!0

well done on being organised. I am trying to be as well.
One good thing about going to the hospital for this treatment is that I wont have to pay for it
I don't think we had one takeaway in Jan Prim which is fab for us, but then my teeth weren't really up to it lol.
I can laugh now as I have days where it hurts etc but sadly I have learnt to live with it so am just getting on with it. As long as I don't touch my cheek too much or open my mouth too wide it's not too bad and I don't look like a chipmunk at the mo so that's good.0 -
I'm getting all excited about all these weddings coming up! I hope I get to see photos of the dress!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Enjoy your hair appointment - much much nicer than all these other appointments you've been having recently!0

Definitely Primula, which is why I decided to do it. I never spend money on myself getting my hair done and it so badly needs doing.0
